Job Description
Samudra Oil Services Sdn Bhd is a global service provider servicing the oil and gas industry.

The company strives at strengthening its foothold in the domestic oilfield services industry by remaining or sustaining as a major supplier and service provider of its core businesses to the upstream oil and gas operators in the country.

We have place a high premium on its human capital. Staffs are highly experienced, trained and qualified to undertake the specific tasks. Staffs have to undergo certification training by relevant technical products and legislative authorities to provide customers the assurance and value added services. Requirements:
  • Candidate must be a qualified Safety & Health Officer registered with DOSH and possess valid Green Book.
  • Candidate with tertiary education is an added advantage. (ex: Diploma and Degree)
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Kemaman Supply Base(KSB) and Asian Supply Base(ASB, Labuan)
  • Mobile and willing to travel on job assignments.

Responsibilities:
  • To implement safety, health and environmental general duties as per OSHA Act 1994.
  • To monitor and observe Smart Card requirement for all offshore personnel.
  • Lead and supervise the day-to-day activities to meet the Quality and safety requirements and resolve customers (internal & external) issues while identifying and developing a partnership with them. Understanding and meeting their needs, proactively communicating and delivering reliable and high quality services in a timely manner are paramount.
  • Compile and disseminate information on HSE including legal requirements and ensure regular analysis of STOP/ ACT programs for monitoring and reporting purposes.
  • Implement health risk assessment of exposed employees to noise, dust, hazardous substances and workplace ergonomics. Record and report findings or observations made by OH Doctors (OHD) relating to work-related injuries and illness.
  • Conduct regular review and compliance auditing at the plants to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and reporting on the adequacy, efficiency and effectiveness of the HSEMS.
  • Other tasks assigned by Immediate Superior from time to time.
