Responsibilities
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Assistant will coordinate day-to-day operational activities. Working independently, the incumbent ensures all operations are conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures and within appropriate legislative demands.
- To conduct various routine and non-routines technical activities (Standard and Specialized) by utilizing stand-alone computers (PC's) with related technical software programs and terminals operating through the company's LAN.
- To collect and compile new data, update existing database by collecting relevant information on the existing Projects position from concerned departments within CEKBM and other outside sources.
- To tabulate and retrieve all available technical database and able to transform this data into graphical representation for various management levels, and into plots, histograms and drawing for the Manager’s daily work.
- To act as technical document controller for the Manager and to maintain all hard and soft filing system current and up-to-date. Also keep control and track record of proprietary and confidential information on the joint venture projects, studies and documentation received from foreign partners, consultants, engineering firms, etc….
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken is desirable
- Fresh graduates with oil and gas experience is an advantage
- Excellent knowledge in using personal computer/ and LAN networks.
- Good hands-on experience on statistical applications in relevant data gathering and processing.
- Proficiency in the use of various computer packages such as Access, Excel, Dbase, Graphics, Windows, Word Processing, Powerpoint, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to work and make decisions both independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to work on own initiative with limited supervision
- Numerate and computer literate with a good aptitude for problem solving
