Accountant at Golden Pharos Berhad (Terengganu)


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the accounting functions including financial and management reporting, statutory compliance reporting, credit control and operations support.
  • Ensure the account & accounting documents are well prepared, kept and updated.
  • Familiar with consolidation of group accounts.
  • Ability to work with people of different levels to address issues and provide guidance on financial matters.
  • Provide reliable and timely financial information for management’s decision.
  • Ability to meet demanding deadlines.
  • Technically sound in accounting standard especially new FRS standard

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent professional qualification and preferably member of MIA.
  • 2 - 3 years experience in accounting environment and public accounting firms will be advantage.
  • Knowledge in conducting financial analysis, feasibility studies/analysis, fund raising exercise and corporate financing.
  • Experience in dealing with relevant authorities such as Rating Agencies, Merchant Bankers, Securities Commission, BURSA.
  • Familiarity with listing requirements of Bursa Malaysia is a must.
  • Must be meticulous and have pro-active & positive attitude.
  • Experience in costing / manufacturing activities.

  • Working experience in manufacturing factories is an advantage.

Interview Tips
