Requirements:
- Candidate must be a qualified Safety & Health Officer registered with DOSH and possess valid Green Book.
- Candidate with tertiary education is an added advantage. (ex: Diploma and Degree)
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Kemaman Supply Base(KSB) and Asian Supply Base(ASB, Labuan)
- Mobile and willing to travel on job assignments.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
Responsibilities:
- To implement safety, health and environmental general duties as per OSHA Act 1994.
- To monitor and observe Smart Card requirement for all offshore personnel.
- Lead and supervise the day-to-day activities to meet the Quality and safety requirements and resolve customers (internal & external) issues while identifying and developing a partnership with them. Understanding and meeting their needs, proactively communicating and delivering reliable and high quality services in a timely manner are paramount.
- Compile and disseminate information on HSE including legal requirements and ensure regular analysis of STOP/ ACT programs for monitoring and reporting purposes.
- Implement health risk assessment of exposed employees to noise, dust, hazardous substances and workplace ergonomics. Record and report findings or observations made by OH Doctors (OHD) relating to work-related injuries and illness.
- Conduct regular review and compliance auditing at the plants to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and reporting on the adequacy, efficiency and effectiveness of the HSEMS.
- Other tasks assigned by Immediate Superior from time to time.
